Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of growtelo.com and to the services we provide. By using our website, or by accepting a quote or asking us to start work, you agree to these Terms.
Growtelo is trading as Growtelo, ABN 78818049129, based in Australia (“Growtelo”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
1. Our services
We design and build websites and online stores. We also provide one-time projects for business email and tools, including audits, setup, migration and security training for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. The exact services, deliverables and timeline for your project are set out in the quote or written scope we agree with you.
2. Quotes and scope
- Quotes are free and are based on what you tell us about your project.
- A quote is valid for 14 days unless it says otherwise.
- Work starts once you accept the quote in writing (email is fine) [and pay any deposit, if applicable].
- If you ask for work outside the agreed scope, we will tell you and agree any change to the quote before we do it.
- Timelines we give are estimates. They depend on you supplying content, feedback and access on time.
3. Your responsibilities
To do our work well, you agree to:
- give us accurate information and the content, images and access we need, on time
- make sure you have the right to use any content, images, logos or other material you give us
- review our work and give feedback within a reasonable time
- keep your own passwords and accounts secure
- keep a copy of any important data before we start a migration or change to your systems
4. Fees and payment
- Fees are as set out in your quote. Amounts are in Australian dollars [and include or exclude GST, as stated in the quote].
- Payment terms: We require 25% deposit amount before the commencement of your project.
- Invoices are due within 14 days unless the quote says otherwise.
- If an invoice is overdue, we may pause work until it is paid.
- Costs charged by other companies, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 licences, domain names or paid plugins, are separate from our fees unless the quote says they are included. You buy licences directly from Google or Microsoft. Where hosting, business email or SSL is included in your quote, it is provided as described in the quote.
5. Third-party services
Our work often uses services owned by other companies, such as Google, Microsoft, Shopify, WordPress, hosting providers and plugin or theme makers. These are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we do not control them. Growtelo is an independent provider and is not affiliated with Microsoft or Google. We are not responsible for changes, outages or price changes made by these providers.
6. Access to your accounts
If you give us access to your website, hosting, domain, store or email admin accounts, we will use that access only for the agreed work and keep any login details secure. When the project is finished, we recommend you change your passwords and remove any access you no longer need to give us.
7. Intellectual property
- You keep ownership of the content and material you give us.
- Once you have paid in full, you own the custom design and written content we create for you for this project.
- Themes, plugins, fonts, stock images and other third-party material stay under their own licences.
- We keep ownership of our own tools, templates and know-how.
- We may show your finished website or project as an example of our work, unless you tell us you would prefer we did not.
8. Reviews and changes
We will share our work with you for review. Your quote includes 3 rounds of reasonable revisions. Further changes may be quoted separately.
9. Our responsibility to you
We will provide our services with due care and skill. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:
- We do not promise particular search rankings, website traffic, sales or results
- We do not promise that websites or third-party services will be uninterrupted or free of errors
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or lost business
- Our total liability for any claim connected with a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project
10. Privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Cancellation and refunds
Either of us may end a project by giving written notice. If a project ends early, you pay for the work completed up to that point. A 20% deposit is required to start your project. Once work on your project has begun, the deposit is non-refundable if you decide to cancel or change your mind. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Using our website
You agree to use growtelo.com lawfully. You must not try to gain unauthorised access to our website, our client portal or other users’ information, or interfere with how they work. The content on our website is general information, and the text, design and branding belong to us unless stated otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the “last updated” date at the top. Changes do not affect a project you have already accepted, unless we both agree.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the Australian law. Both of us submit to the courts of that State or Territory.
